Cases of attacks made on temples know no bounds in the country of Canada. Now, Mississauga’s Ram Temple has been targeted. On Tuesday, anti-India and pro-Khalistan slogans were written on the walls of the temple. With attacks on two temples during two weeks, once at Brampton, and now in Mississauga, a sense of fear has developed among the Hindu community of the country. As per locals, the lackadaisical attitude of the police is resulting in the attacks on the temples.

It is also being said that if the culprits behind the desecration of the Brampton temple would have been caught, then this incident could have been averted. In Mississauga with a population of 7 lakhs, more than 70 thousand are Indians. During the recent times, the cases of hate-crimes against Hindus in Canada have skyrocketed, and Hindu temples have become soft-targets. Anti-Hindu activities are not coming to an end.

In its statement, Canadian Hindu for Harmony, said that Hindus are not being able to gain confidence because of the lax attitude of the police, and a sense of insecurity has been established. Built 20 years ago, the Mississauga Ram Temple attracts a large number of devotees, and looking at the vile slogans on the temple walls, some devotees could not help but cry. The Indian Consulate has asked the Canadian administration to take action against the culprits of the Mississauga Ram Temple attack.
