Arms and ammunition recovered from J&K’s Kupwara

Srinagar: Security forces recovered a cache of arms, and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Tuesday.

They said based on specific inputs from Kupwara Police, a joint search operation was launched by the forces in the general area of Nangari forest, Dardpora Kralpora during which a significant cache of arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered.

“During the search 8 AK Magazines, 445 live AK rounds, a pistol with three magazines, 13 live pistol rounds and a hand grenade was recovered,” officials said.

Police have registered a case.
