Chennai airport bags first prize for best implementation of Official Language

Chennai: The Chennai Airport has bagged the first prize for the best implementation of the Official Lanaguage by the Union Home Ministry.

Under the aegis of Chennai Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) (Undertaking) and as per instructions/guidelines issued by Department of Official Language, Union Ministry of Home Affairs, the excellent award for the Best implementation f the Official Language amongst the 60 PSU working under the Union Government was awarded First prize to Chennai Airport.

Dr Sharad Kumar, Airport Director, Chennai International Airport, received the Official Language Shield and Certificate were from Chairman, Chennai TOLIC (PSU) in the 11th half yearly meeting held here yesterday, an official release said.
