Ensure relief work in rain hit areas: Yogi

According to the information from the Chief Minister’s office, Yogi has directed the District Magistrates to make immediate arrangements to relocate people stranded in waterlogged areas to safer places.

Several districts, including Lucknow, are receiving rains for the last two to three days. This has escalated the problem of flood and waterlogging in all areas.

The Chief Minister has directed the disaster management system to remain active and on alert mode. He has also asked the district administration to be fully prepared to deal with any possible situation arising out of the excessive rains.

Yogi has directed the officials to immediately resolve the problem of water logging due to heavy rains. He has directed that pumps should be used to tackle the problem of water logging.

He has directed that in case of loss of life or property the district administration officials should reach the spot immediately and provide permissible assistance.
