Washington: Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk is using his platform to impact the United States’ democratic process, US Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign said.
On Monday evening, Musk held a live conversation with former US President Donald Trump via social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). More than one million users tuned into the official broadcast.
“Musk already ruined Twitter by allowing hate speech and disinformation to flood the platform. Now, Musk is using his vast fortune and broad reach to try to control our democracy,” the Harris campaign said in a statement.
