Washington: Incumbent US Vice President and Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris said on Sunday she had cast her vote by mail, and expressed confidence in her own victory.

“Your voice is your vote, and your vote is your power. I voted by mail,” Harris wrote on X.

The vice president admitted that the race would be “tight,” but expressed confidence in her victory, saying that her supporters’ votes are “one of the reasons why we are going to win.”

“Make sure you fill out your ballot,” she called on voters.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5. Harris and her Republican opponent, former US President Donald Trump, are running for the country’s top job.
