Jammu: In the backdrop of rising incidents of exchange of firing recently, India and Pakistan will be holding a Brigadier-Level Flag Meeting on Friday at Chakkan-da-Bagh along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Due to sudden spurt in ceasefire violations, instances of gunfire and landmine explosions, the Brigadier-Level Flag Meeting has been scheduled at Chakkan-da-Bagh,” official sources said.

“The meeting is scheduled to ease prevailing border tension and maintain the protocols of ceasefire agreement” they said.
