Mumbai: Police on Wednesday arrested a third accused Sanjay Jadhav in the NEET-UG paper leak scam from Latur, Maharashtra.

‘Sanjay Jadhav’s investigation revealed that more individuals from the educational field, students, and parents were also involved in the scam,’ police said.

Police further said accused Jadhav, who is a science teacher in a private school, has acted as a mediator between the Delhi-based mastermind, Gangadhar Munde, and two accused from Maharashtra— headmaster Pathan and one Iranna Kongalwar.

According to sources, the police are also focusing on coaching class merit holders who secured excellent marks in the entrance test.

Beside this, the phone books of the arrested accused are also under observation to find out their links with coaching class teachers and others.
