In the Tala village of the Raisar area of Jaipur’s Jamwa Ramgarh, a Muslim mob attacked and pelted stones at a Hindu rally on the occasion of Hindu Nav Varsh, and despite police personnel were deployed for the security of the rally, they could not do anything. Later on, the mob was controlled after additional forces were called. The Hindu bike rally had started at around 10.15 AM on the occasion of Nav Varsh from Khel Maidan, Chandwaji.

At around 3 PM, the rally reached Tala Johra, and this is where the mob of skull-cap wearing people attacked it and pelted stones on the Hindus. Despite the attack, the rally participants did not react and moved ahead peacefully. This rally, called the Hindu Ranbheri Rally, is carried out every year on the occasion of the Hindu Nav Varsh.

A video recording of the mob attack was uploaded on Twitter by BJP MP Rajyavardhan Rathore. He wrote that a terrorist-mentality has developed further in the state of Rajasthan under the Congress government, which also keeps a soft-approach towards the ones which attack and pelt stones at the events of the Hindu community. He added that such incidents are the result of this appeasement and the government is required to take swift action on such anarchists and the madrassas which facilitate them.

12 persons have been detained so far, after the police initiated action against the attackers, more people are being identified by the police from the videos.
