Punjab: Police break nexus, Rs 38.86 lakh recovered

Jalandhar: Punjab police aimed to break the link between illegal immigration and the state on Wednesday.

The police have busted an interstate module for sending people via donkey routes, said Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal here on Wednesday.

He said two members of the gang have been arrested, and police recovered Rs 38.86 lakh from the accused.

The police registered the case and conducted further investigations to disrupt the ecosystem.
