New Delhi: An Earthquake measuring 5.4 magnitude on the Richter scale affected Northern Tuesday.
An Earthquake jolted many places in Himachal Pradesh including Chamba, Kangra, Hamirpur Bilaspur and Una districts.
Strong tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday afternoon at 1333 hours, and the tremors were also felt in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir valley for a few seconds.
An earthquake of mild intensity jolted the Kashmir valley.
The tremors were felt at 1.33 pm with the 6km depth northeast of Doda in Jammu and Kashmir.
The magnitude of the earthquake was measured on the Richter scale of 5.4 with the epicentre at latitude 33.15 in the north and longitude 75.82 in the east.
There were no reports of any injury or damage to the property till the filing of this report.
