Ritu Singh launches ‘Divyarang’ to encourage differently abled sector at Jammu

Jammu: To encourage he differently abled sector, founding Chairperson, FICCI FLO, J&K and Ladakh Chapter, Kunwarni Ritu Singh on Saturday launched ‘Divyarang’– to skill, train and empower the differently abled sector on World Disability Day at ‘Muskann’–the home for mentally challenged.

As per handout issued here, Ritu Singh along with members Esther William, Kritika Khanna, Mona Saraf, Richa Issar launched –Divyarang– platform that will teach block printing, music dance and theatre to the differently abled in collaboration with Hari Singh Foundation that will support the events.

On Saturday, the session was extremely motivating as the block printing teacher, Pankaj Kapoor and members engaged and kickstarted the course amidst singing and dancing.

With home inmates, Ritu Singh donated three steel almirahs as required by the center while the FLO also gave blocks, paints and linen to the needy.

“This is an encouraging step towards inclusion and granting dignity to the differently abled sector,” said Ritu Singh.
