Sinde-Fadnavis govt has committed sin of cutting right funds of backward classes: Patil

Mumbai: After many initiatives like targeting opposition party representatives, suspending the works approved by the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, now the Sinde-Fadnavis government is committing the sin of cutting the right funds of the backward classes,says NCP state president Jayant Patil on Friday.

The current government has made a big cut in the provision made by the Maha Vikas Aghadi government for the welfare schemes of the backward classes in the last budget.

Mr Patil also said in his tweet that many schemes of the backward classes have been affected.

The provision of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Development Yojana in the original budget from 1200 crores to 840 crores, he has also drawn attention to the reduction in the provision of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s memorial at Indu Mill, the provision of Rs 100 crore in the original budget of the ‘Stand Up India’ scheme has been reduced to Rs 10 crore, he added.
