The concept of a 4-day week in schools across many states in the USA is becoming popular by the day. Both teachers and students are content with this formula. As per research conducted in 1600 schools of the USA, when the students get back to their schools after a long holiday, they are more enthusiastic and are able to focus more on studies. In addition to this, even the teachers get ample amount of time to prepare their lesson plans an to improve their ways of teaching.

Some schools have stated that this formula helped their result go up by 25%. It is also being believed that a 4-day week at school is especially helpful for students who, apart from studying, assist their families financially, they are able to save more money with more free days. On the other hand, some schools have opposed this system as well.

On the other hand, in Britain, a pilot project is being carried out in a company on the 4-day week formula. After conducting a study on more than 3300 employees working in more than 70 banks, marketing, healthcare, and other sectors, for 6 months, it has been found out that the formula has not reduced productivity in any sense, and most of the companies have stated that this is a good formula and would result in more work output.

Similar to Britain, experiments in other countries have been successful too, these countries include Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. In Sweden’s Gothenburg, it has been found that employees were able to finish equal amounts and even more work using this formula.
