Hyderabad: The Telangana Police Department has dispatched 2000 Home Guards from Telangana to Chinndwara and Seoni districts. They will provide security services for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections scheduled for November 17.
Under the supervision of Home Guards Additional DG Abhilash Bisth, the Home Guards SP for this contingent of two thousand Home Guards have travelled to Madhya Pradesh.
ACP P Arun Kumar is leading 800 Home Guards from Hyderabad, while ACP Bhaskar is leading 1200 Home Guards from other districts.
An official statement clarified that these Home Guards will return to Hyderabad on November 19 after the elections.
