Washington DC: In a bid to safeguard and secure US vital university research, US has ordered suspension of the entry of Chinese graduate students who are suspected to be a part of China’s programme to acquire confidential knowledge of US trade; and academic research for the country’s military and industrial development.

Speaking at the Press Conference in the White House Rose Garden, US President Donald Trump expressed, “For years, the government of China has conducted elicit espionage to steal our industrial secrets, of which there are many.”

If American continues to allow the entry of such students, it would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, Trump asserted.
