Back in the times when there were lockdowns across the world, people were eating healthy foods in order to develop their immune systems better, but with this, they had to compromise on taste. During this time period, some Chinese families living in the western countries, made a special chili pickle, using a Chinese recipe which is thousands of years old. This pickle was both tasty and healthy. And the people who were having bland foods for months in a row, developed a taste for it.

With this, such a journey of taste began which carried this Chinese spicy pickle to every food plate of Europe and the USA. Following this, the pandemic started weakening in effect, but the demand for this pickle did not reduce. Now, the craze for this pickle in the USA and in Europe has turned into an obsession. The demand has risen to such a level that now, the pickle which was made at homes, is now being produced by companies and is being sold in western countries. Earlier, only the Chinese living in the USA and in the western countries used to have this pickle.

After this, it became popular among the Americans and Europeans of south Asian origins. And now, the scenario is such that local Americans and Europeans are too, cherishing the taste of this pickle on their plates. Earlier, this pickle was only served mixed with noodles, but now, the Americans are making it a part of all their dishes, including egg curry. This spicy chili pickle is now also available at many restaurants of the USA and of Europe.
