The trend of working from home is gaining strong ground all across the globe but making friends with office colleagues helps living a happy life.  The benefits of making friends at office have now been discussed by Robert Waldinger, Director, Harvard Study of Adult Development, and psychologist Mark Shultz in their book. They have turned research of 80 years into this book. The book is called ‘The Good Life: Lesson from the world’s longest scientific study of happiness’.

The book mentions that the people who have cordial relationships with their colleagues are happier in their lives, and even if such people are not able to fulfill their dreams, they are still happier than those workers who do dislike their colleagues. The fact is that we spend most of our time with our colleagues, and hence, their behaviour determines our happiness.
