Khaki Association Honours Supreme Sacrifice of Veer Naaris of Kashmir

In a deeply moving and patriotic ceremony, the Khaki Association, in collaboration with the Indian Army, hosted the ‘Veer Naari Samman Samaroh’ at Baramulla, to pay a heartfelt tribute to the Veer Naris of Kashmir, the courageous widows of Indian soldiers.

Held under the emotionally stirring theme ‘Bharat ki Jhelum, Jhelum ka Bharat’ (Jhelum of India, India of Jhelum), the event celebrated the strength, resilience, and unwavering patriotism of these brave women whose husbands made the ultimate sacrifice in service of the nation.

As part of the ceremony, the organizers paid glowing tributes to the people of Kashmir, acknowledging their unmatched courage and supreme sacrifices in upholding the unity and integrity of India. From the villages of Kashmir to Entire India, Kashmir has stood as a bastion of patriotism, giving rise to many martyrs both in uniform and among its civilians.

The event witnessed the gracious presence of senior Indian Army officials, Khaki Association President, Annu Pasricha and team, local civil society members, and most importantly, the families of the martyrs, whose silent strength stood as a beacon of national pride.

Each Veer Naari was honored with symbolic mementos of gratitude and respect, representing the love and appreciation of a grateful nation.

A senior official, while addressing the gathering, stated, ‘Our martyrs may be gone, but their legacy breathes through the strength of their families. The courage of our Veer Naris inspires not only the armed forces but every citizen of this nation.’

‘The Khaki Association reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to standing by the families of martyrs and fostering national unity through such heartfelt and respectful engagements’, said Khaki President, Annu pasricha.

The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that the spirit of Bharatiyata thrives in every corner of the nation, especially in the soul of Kashmir, where patriotism is lived, felt, and defended with valour.
