Goa-Manipur train stoned at UP and Bihar

Katihar: The special Shramik Train from Goa to Manipur with migrants was stoned at Dhanapur in Uttar Pradesh and at Katihar junction in Bihar.

The train Shramik Train – 01650 – was attacked at 8pm last night at Dhanapur. This was a mild attack, as reported exclusively to GoaChronicle.com by a passenger in the train.

The attack on the train at 6am this morning near Katihar Junction in Bihar was brutal and vicious. Some passenger suffered minor injuries. 

The passenger on the train in communication with GoaChronicle.com told us that stoning because people wanted to enter the train and the doors were locked. Therefore, in a fit of anger and violence, there was a stoning at the train with vulnerable passengers inside.

The train left Madgaon station on May 21st at 7.30 pm.
