Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot announces ‘Jan Samman Video Contest’

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, has announced a new initiative, which is a contest, called the ‘Jan Samman Video Contest’, through which, participants will promote the schemes launched by the Rajasthan Government, including those which are a part of the ‘Mehengai Rahat Camps’.

Announcing the contest, through a video message, Ashok Gehlot said, “My dear people of Rajasthan, the success which we have achieved through the Mehengai Rahat Camps, has witnessed the participation of around 1 crore 80 lakh families, and their registration for the camp. And I must have travelled around 10,000 KM, and I saw, that everywhere, there was enthusiasm among the people”.

“This video contest which is being held, will connect the common people, and prizes will be awarded, which will attract the youth to the contest. All this was thought over before organizing this contest. The only objective of the same is to attract the remaining 15 lakh families to the Mehengai Rahat Camp”, revealed Gehlot.

He further stated, “I hope, that will all of your attempts, no family of the state will remain deprived of the government’s schemes. I appeal to all the interested state residents to make videos related to any of the government’s schemes, including the 10 schemes of the Mehengai Rahat Camp, and upload them. With this, more and more people will be notified about the schemes, which will benefit the people of the state. And on the other hand, the confidence of students will also increase”.

“I believe that this contest has a lot of value of its own, and hence, it has been launched after due thinking. I hope that you will pick your mobile phones up, make videos, and send them, so that you also get the opportunity to win the prizes”.

The first prize which has been offered is 1 lakh rupees, the second prize is 50 thousand rupees, and the third prize is 25000 rupees. Every day, 100 motivation awards worth 1000 rupees will also be given.
