Terror case: Sleuths raid several locations across Kashmir

Srinagar: Sleuths of the Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) of J&K Police on Friday morning carried out simultaneous raids at several locations across the Valley, official sources said, adding the raids are conducted as a part of investigation in a terror case.

“Searches are in progress in Budgam, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kupwara, Shopian, and Srinagar districts of Kashmir,” said a police source.

Officials said that during the investigation, various suspects were found using a specific encrypted messaging application which is used by terrorists, their handlers from across the border.

These individuals are suspected to be in touch with entities across the border, said sources. More details are awaited, officials added.
