New Delhi: Broadcom Inc announced a collaboration with Walmart to deliver a modern private cloud software solutions.
Under this initiative, Broadcom will act as a strategic vendor for Walmart. Broadcom will leverage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to unify Walmart’s globally distributed ecosystem.
Stressing the mutual collaboration, Paul Turner, vice president of products, VMware Cloud Foundation Division at Broadcom, said, “ Being named as a strategic vendor for virtualization by Walmart is a testament to the innovation and value our VMware software can bring to a global, trusted brand.”
“ VMware Cloud Foundation will provide the consistent and scalable private cloud infrastructure that plays a role in helping Walmart lead the next retail disruption,” Turner added.
The collaboration of Broadcom will allow Walmart to focus on its agility, operational complexity, workload portability, and security.
