Despite the law of imparting secular and modern education to children in the USA, the students studying in schools which impart religious education are missing out on modern education in the country. Their parents are not able to take their children out of these schools under a number of different pressures. Many a times, wrong things are taught to the children in such schools.

The law of the country states that private schools are bound to provide education which is at par with the quality of education provided in the government schools. As per a report, every year, despite taking help worth lakhs of dollars from the government, many Hasidic schools do not provide children with modern education. It has been found out that Hasidic schools in the USA merely touch upon topics like basic English, mathematics, sciences, and social sciences, and primarily focus on Hasidic morals, and believe in the Jewish law and prayers to be supreme.

Such parents are unable to take their children out of such schools because of social pressures.
