COVID-19 vaccines do not cause cardiac arrests: experts

The cases of cardiac arrests have increased rapidly during the past one year, especially among the youth, and are being witnessed more in pre-mature ages. In the wake of this situation, it is becoming a notion among people that this is a side effect of COVID-19 and its vaccines. Doctors have now suggested that COVID-19 is a major cause in such cases, but the effect of COVID-19 on the heart remains only for 12 months. And about the vaccines, doctors have stated that vaccines have less of disadvantages and more of benefits only.

Experts have stated that after COVID-19, the number of heart patients has gone up significantly, and the reason behind the same is swelling of veins, which is called inflammatory reaction. The cases of vein-blocks have also increased. Symptoms like the fluctuation of the heart’s speed can be seen among patients, and it has been suggested by doctors that if you are infected with COVID-19, you should not ignore any symptom, and should visit a doctor.

It has also been said by experts that sudden deaths after the age of 35 are not due to heart attacks but because of the coronary arteries disease. The blockages are not diagnosed because people do not get themselves tested. And prior to the age of 35, the reason of deaths is not heart attacks again, but hypertrophy cardiomyopathy, which is the thickening of the heart muscles, and in such situations, death is caused by exercise-induced asthma.

Experts have also revealed that currently, cardiac arrests are not because of COVID-19, but the reasons are electrical failure of the heart and blockage in the arteries. Pacemakers can save lives. Annually, 12 lakh deaths in the country take place due to heart attacks, out of which 30% are young deaths, and among 65% people, the causes of cardiac arrest are heart attacks and blockages.

Doctors added that symptoms cannot be seen in the case of pre-mild blockage, and in such circumstances, blood pressure and pulse rates increase because of too much exercise. With the bursting of the mild blockages, blood clotting takes place, and the arteries get blocked in a few hours, and a 20-30% blockage soon turns into a 100%, and hence, caution should be taken.
