The murder of gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed has rattled the left lobby of this country, as a result of which, a massive liberal meltdown can be seen in the public domain these days. And while on the one hand, one set of people of the country opine that being killed in cold blood was the result of Atiq’s deeds, who was a dreaded gangster, who had more than 100 cases against him, on the other hand, the liberals of the country have come out showing pity for Ahmed, labelling India as a ‘mobocracy’, and questioning the ‘law and order’ situation in India and especially in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where the killings took place.
This time too, the Hindu-hatred of the liberal lobby is categorically evident while the leftists raise their voice for the gangster who was hand in glove with anti-India forces and terrorist organizations. Soon after the Ahmed brothers were shot dead in Prayagraj, doctored videos were being circulated on social media which created the narrative that ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans were raised by the three assassins before gunning the criminals down.
At this point, it seems that supporting terrorists has finally developed a terrorist-ideology and modus operandi for the liberals of this country. Why do I say so? Does this ‘Hindu terrorist’ narrative ring a bell? Well, it does in my mind and surely in yours if you know what would have happened if Ajmal Kasab would not have been caught alive by the brave Tukaram Omble. Wearing a Kalawa on his wrist, Ajmal Kasab was all set to die a Sameer Chaudhary, a Hindu, spinning the narrative of a Hindu terrorist attack.
The attempt of showcasing Kasab as a Hindu and Digvijaya Singh claiming that the Mumbai 2008 attacks were an RSS conspiracy, is similar to what was being tried with these fake doctored videos- to make people forget that Ahmed was a dastardly criminal, who destroyed innumerable lies, and to spread the lies that the three assassins killed Ahmed just because he was a Muslim. And once again, showcasing their peak hypocrisy, these liberals started abusing Hindus and Hindutva based on these fake videos with edited sound clips, while, when in reality, all the actual terrorist attacks take place right after slogans of ‘Allah Hu Akbar’ are raised by the terrorists, these same messiahs of democracy preach, “Terrorism has no religion”.
Another point which comes to my mind is that when gangster Vikas Dubey died, no Hindu was seen supporting him or shedding tears for him just because he was not safe in the ‘crippling law and order’ situation of Uttar Pradesh; even his family said that he deserved it and did not participate in his last rites. But now after Atiq is dead, I have seen multiple Muslims taking a stand for him. This simply shows that while for the Hindus, a criminal is a criminal, for Muslims, another Muslim is simply a Muslim, to be supported, even if he is a gangster.
The hypocrisy of the liberals does not end here. While the leftists in India like Mahua Moitra are writing dedicated pieces for Atiq Ahmed and his brother, accusing the Uttar Pradesh government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the killings, and labelling India as a ‘mobocracy’ and a ‘Mafia-raj’ (amusingly, she is made aware of a mafia raj in India when an actual mafia leader dies), she was nowhere to be seen when hundreds of innocent Hindus were attacked by Muslim rioters all across the country on Ram Navami, including in her own state of West Bengal.
Similarly, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, on her official Twitter handle, wrote, “I am shocked by the brazen anarchy and total collapse of law and order in Uttar Pradesh. It is shameful that perpetrators are now taking the law in their own hands, unfazed by the police and media presence. Such unlawful acts have no place in our constitutional democracy”.
This is the same woman talking about law and order and democracy, who did not utter a single word in support of the hundreds of poor innocent Hindus who were killed in her own state simply because of their religion and them supporting the BJP after the last WB assembly elections. This is the same Mamata Banerjee who squarely blamed the Hindus for the Ram Navami violence in West Bengal, initiated by the Muslims stone-pelters, and ‘warned’ the Hindus of revenge and asked them not to venture in ‘Muslim areas’.
This is not all, in West Bengal’s Ramganj, an organization called the ‘Raza Islamic Mission’ held a candle march to showcase their protest against the killings of the Ahmed brothers, and asked for ‘justice’. Preposterously, Atiq has also been called ‘Robin Hood’ by liberals, singing praises of how the criminal ‘helped’ poor people, and gave money during Eid!
None of the liberal came forward to take a stand of the innocent victims of Atiq Ahmed or his son Asad Ahmed, including the lawyer Umesh Pal and the two innocent policemen, Sandeep Nishad and Raghvendra Singh who were killed by Asad Ahmed, nobody took a stand for the Hindus during the Ram Navami violence against them, no liberal uttered a word when Kanhaiya Lal was murdered for the ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ mentality, but now, every one cares of the ‘threat to India’s democracy’ with the killing of a gangster.
Along with the liberals of this country, comes the ultra-progressive and liberal Supreme Court of India, for which there seems to be no ‘absolute concept’ of crime and criminals. While on the one hand, the apex court had refused to entertain a plea which sought a probe into the Ram Navami violence cases across the country, on the other, it has readily agreed to hear a plea seeking a probe into the murder of Atiq Ahmed, and the case will be heard on 24th April.
Yet again, with all this, the liberals have proved that they will continue with their selective outrage for the Robinhood and lawmaker in Atiq Ahmed, but will simply brush aside all the cases which will not go in line with their obnoxious agenda of ‘secularism’ and democracy. In the meantime, as the liberals continue to whine and sulk, we should rather ‘let law take its own course’.
