Bengaluru: A case has been registered against Karnataka Minister D Sudhakar and others under Prevention of Atrocities Act for allegedly trespassing and forcibly evicting a family from a disputed property in Yelahanka.

According to the complaint filed by Subbamma, the minister and others came to her house in her absence and demolished a makeshift shed and compound on September 9.

Subamma also alleged that the minister made casteist remarks on her when she questioned him about damaging the property in her absence.

The property is under litigation, and Subbamma has been in a legal battle against Seven Hills Developers.

She also accused the minister for attacking her daughter Asha, and appealed to the police to take stern action against the trespassers and evict them from the site.

A video in this regard has gone viral on Tuesday in social media. The purported video depicts the minister’s visit to the property and hurling abuses.

The police have registered a case under various other sections of the IPC also.
