New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday released its second list of 20 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections 2025.
The party has fielded former deputy CM Manish Sisodia, currently the MLA from Patparganj, from the Jangpura constituency.
Educator and motivational speaker Avadh Ojha, who recently joined the party, has been nominated from Patparganj constituency.
The party has also fielded Surendra Pal Singh Bittu from the Timarpur constituency, Pravin Kumar from the Janakpuri seat, and Joginder Solanki from the Palam constituency.
Earlier, on November 21, the party released its first list of 11 candidates, finalised during a Political Affairs Committee meeting chaired by the party’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
The five-year term of the current Delhi Assembly will conclude in 2025, with elections for all 70 seats are expected to take place in February. The seventh Assembly was formed on February 24, 2020, when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured a landslide victory.
