Administration Manipur Petroleum Manipur govt forms teams to stop hoarding of LPG

Imphal: Manipur government has started taking up measures to stop hoarding of LPG and other petroleum products.

A control room has been set up at the Office of the Directorate of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Sangaiprou, Imphal to monitor and curb any case of black marketing and hoarding of LPG and other petroleum products in the state with immediate effect, said K. Bono Singh, Director (CAF & PD), Manipur.

He said consumers/the public in the state who like to lodge complaints, share or seek related information on LPG and other petroleum products in the state may contact the Control Room or District Monitoring Committee concerned.

He said that there is no shortage of LPG or other petroleum products in the state and urged the public not to panic over misinformation circulating on social media.
