Adoni (Andhra Pradesh): Making clear the stand of Congress party on Jagan Mohan Reddy-headed AP Government’s three capitals plan , Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said AP should have only one capital and that is ‘Amaravati’.

In an interaction with media here, he said my stand for Amavarati is very clear…..we do not think that the idea having three capitals is not a sensible efficient idea.

Rahul said he met the people yesterday who have parted their lands for the Capital and who have been cheated.

I reiterate we will stand with those people and we will defend the rights of those people, he added.
