New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi Marlena on Tuesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of threatening its party leaders by conducting ED (Enforcement Directorate) raids.

Addressing a press conference here, Marlena said, “ED raids have been underway against AAP leaders and people associated with the party since the morning today.”

“Raids are going on at the residence of the AAP Treasurer, MP ND Gupta, and Arvind Kejriwal’s PA. And reports are also emerging that the ED will conduct raids at the residences of several other AAP leaders. The BJP wants to suppress our party through central agencies, but I want to tell Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP, and their agencies that we will not be afraid of them,” Marlena said.

She further alleged, “For the last 2 years, AAP leaders have been threatened in the name of a so-called liquor excise policy scam; someone’s house is raided, someone gets summonsed, and someone is arrested.”

“Even after hundreds of raids in two years, ED has not been able to recover even a single rupee. Even after two years, ED has not found any concrete evidence, and the court has also repeatedly asked that evidence be presented,” she added.

ED deleted audio recordings of witness statements and challenged it to produce them in front of the country, Marlena said, adding, “ED should place audio recordings of all the interrogations of the last 1.5 years in front of the country and the court.”

“We have placed a demand for all audio and video in the court,” she said, challenging ED to present all the video and audio recordings in the court related to the matter.
