Dehradun: A huge avalanche occurred on Saturday morning near Kedarnath Dham, the fifth Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand.
District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Rajwar told UNI that the avalanche occurred between 5:30 am to 6:10 am. No damage or casualties have been reported in Kedar Ghati.
He said that the distance of the avalanche zone from the temple complex is around 6 to 7 kms.
