On the 26th of May, the Bhainsa town police received a complaint about some miscreants who had written ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on the wall of a mosque. After the police investigated the matter, it came to light that the culprits who had done so were Muslims themselves. Their identity was revealed through the CCTV footage. One was a 20-year-old Mohammad Abdul Kaeef and the other was a 14-year-old minor and hence, his name was not made public by the police.
ASP Bhainsa, Kiran Khare said that the 20-year-old Muhammad Abdul Kaeef is the son of one Muhammad Abdul Majeed. Both the suspects were identified and arrested and both of them live nearby the mosque itself. As per both the accused statements, who have confessed to the crime, the 14-year-old minor had written ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on the Masjid wall; for which he was instructed by the older one. Other than the CCTV footage, the handwriting on the wall of the mosque matches that of the suspect.

As evident from the comments below the video of ASP Khare’s statement on the YouTube channel of GMT News, it can be seen that Muslims are not ready to accept that the police are saying the truth. As per them, it is not plausible that Muslims could write something of this sort on the wall of a mosque. The demand for releasing the CCTV footage and the statements of the suspects has been raised by many. While they are busy denying the police’s statement, it can be categorically stated that this act at the hands of the two arrested was aimed at inciting communal violence at the Bhainsa town.
It is important to note that Bhainsa, Telangana is an extremely communally sensitive town. After we investigated the riots which had taken place in the town in March 2021 and also in January 2020, we know that Bhainsa is a Muslim-majority town and how the Muslim inhabitants continue to persecute the Hindus. During the recent violence in March 2021 and January 2020, innumerable Hindus had to flee their homes to protect their own lives. Under circumstances where each day for the Bhainsa Hindus is filled with fear of life, the culpability of Hindus in this act is unbelievable.
Bhainsa is a town where Hindus are mercilessly attacked, beaten, and killed by the Muslims on the pretext of trivial issues like a verbal spat. The arguments can easily be called excuses to unleash violence because as soon as anything of this sort occurs, Muslims come out of nowhere, gathering in mobs of hundreds that too yielded with weapons. Even the pettiest issue at Bhainsa results in imposing CrPC Section 144 in the town.
In March 2021, violence erupted over the excuse of a goat being stolen, which turned into a verbal argument and soon took shape of massive violence when hundreds of Muslims came out on the streets with lethal weapons to attack the Hindus. Similarly, back in January 2020, it was the occasion of Makar Sankranti and the Hindus were busy preparing for the same. Amidst all that, the Muslims, raising slogans of ‘Pakistan zindabad’ and abusing Hindu deities, attacked the Hindus. Hindus were beaten up, killed and their women were assaulted. Stones were pelted and petrol bombs were thrown at their houses. Many were rendered homeless. Even the Prasad which was prepared by the Hindus was not left; the unruly Muslims had urinated on it.
In an incident from 2008, a Hindu religious procession was being carried out and was crossing a mosque of the town; meanwhile, an innocent Hindu was dragged inside the mosque and later, was butchered into pieces and thrown out. While such horrific incidents have happened in the past, the lives of the Hindus are extremely difficult and full of perils. The Muslims, backed by the AIMIM, which is in power at the local level, KCR- led TRS and the local police wreak havoc anytime they want and enjoy a free run. Many Muslims are called to settle down in the town to alter the demography. A Hindu exodus is an aim. And hence, writing ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on the wall of a masjid by Muslims themselves is no big deal to build up another excuse and kill the innocent Hindus.
While the governments stand by the Muslims, the Hindus who retaliate are framed in false cases and thrown behind the bars. The media is controlled by the politicians and no media person from the outside is ever allowed to report such incidents. So that, while the police whitewash the Muslims’ role, the reality doesn’t come out in the public domain.
