Washington: US President Joe Biden will hold meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) from September 23-25 to discuss international challenges, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said on Wednesday.
“On September 23rd to the 25th, the president [Joe Biden] will travel to New York City to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. In addition to addressing the General Assembly on Tuesday, the president will meet with world leaders to discuss cooperation in tackling threats to international peace and security, advancing global prosperity, and protecting human rights,” the spokeswoman said.
The 79th session of the UNGA opened on September 10. The annual debate will take place from September 24-28 and September 30
