CM announces Rs 5 lakh compensation for the kin of those killed in the road accident at Mudkhed

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday directed to give Rs 5 lacs each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the heirs of those who died in the accident in Mudkhed taluka of Nanded district on March 30.

The Chief Minister has also issued instructions for providing necessary treatment to the injured in the accident at the government hospital.

In Mudkhed taluka of Nanded district, five persons including three women and a seven month old girl were killed and eight others were injured in a horrific accident involving a rickshaw and a truck on the Mugat-Injali road.

The injured are being treated at government hospitals in Mudkhed and Vishnupuri at Shankarao Chavan Arogya Sankul, Nanded.
