Bringing immense pride to Jammu & Kashmir, Dr Sukhbeer Kour Bajwa, an eminent lawyer practicing at the Supreme Court of India and a proud daughter of Singhpora village in North Kashmir,s Baramulla District has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate by Chicago Open University, USA, for her exceptional contribution to Law and Social Justice.

The honour was bestowed during a grand convocation ceremony in the United States. As seen in the ceremony, Dr Bajwa was dressed in a traditional academic gown and cap, symbolising scholarly excellence, while she proudly held the Honorary Doctorate citation, Letter of Commendation, and a golden award trophy presented by the university.
