Locks and Architectural Solutions, a business unit of the Godrej Enterprises Group, continues to reinforce its position as India’s most trusted and preferred locks brand, driven by cutting-edge innovation and an expanding digital product portfolio.

With evolving safety needs, digital locks have emerged as a key growth driver, now contributing 10 percent of the business. The segment has witnessed an impressive 45 percent year-on-year growth, fuelled by increasing adoption among younger consumers who prioritize smart, connected, and design-led safety solutions. Notably, the company’s e-commerce sales have doubled, underscoring its growing dominance in online and quick commerce channels.

“Today’s consumers prioritize accessibility and convenience, making e-commerce and quick commerce integral to our growth strategy. Our e-commerce business has doubled year-on-year, highlighting the demand for seamless and innovative security solutions”, said Shyam Motwani, Business Head, Locks & Architectural Solutions, Godrej Enterprises Group. “To meet evolving consumer needs, we are expanding our portfolio, strengthening key touchpoints, and driving greater awareness around smart safety solutions”, he added.

The announcement coincides with the highly anticipated fourth edition of the Godrej Value Co-Creators Club (GVCC) Awards, also known as The GeeVees. The platform has witnessed substantial growth, now attracting over 2,100 architects and 4,000+ submissions. The 2025 GeeVees Awards, celebrating excellence in design, innovation, and sustainability, will be held in Goa on March 8, 2025, featuring an exclusive roundtable discussion with industry leaders.

Looking ahead, Godrej Enterprises Group is on track to achieve ₹2,500 crore in revenue by 2028, backed by sustained investments in R&D, innovation, and advanced manufacturing. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to the Make in India initiative, leveraging favourable government policies, including the introduction of BIS standards in locks, to further strengthen its leadership in the home safety segment.

Locks and Architectural Solutions, a business unit of Godrej Enterprises Group, has consistently set industry standards in locks through continuous innovation. The company has introduced products such as India’s first ‘Made in India’ IoT9 digital lock, cutting-edge postmodern biometric and connected digital locks, and the world’s first patented dual motion technology lock.

Godrej has redefined the lock as an effective home safety solution rather than a mere functional device. Recently, the brand expanded its portfolio to include architectural fittings and systems, demonstrating its pioneering spirit and commitment to innovation.
