Hyderabad: The city of Hyderabad is abuzz with excitement as it prepares to host the prestigious Miss World pageant, set to welcome delegates from over 120 countries with grandeur and cultural elegance.
Special arrangements have been made at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad , where international beauty queens will receive a traditional Telangana-style welcome.
Authorities have set up dedicated lounges and help desks to facilitate the smooth arrival of participants, as the influx of foreign representatives is expected to rise starting on Monday.
In a bid to showcase the state’s rich heritage, welcome arches adorned with symbols of Telangana’s tourist attractions have been installed across key locations.
The Telangana Tourism Department is playing a vital role in the preparations, prominently featuring the slogan “Telangana Jaroor Aana” (Must Visit Telangana) across all welcome zones, setting an inviting and festive tone for the global event, official sources said.
