In a heartwarming gesture of encouragement and pride, the Indian Army felicitated national-level hockey talent Hanan Nazir at his residence in Kulangam, Handwara. Hailing from a humble family in Kupwara district, Hanan has created history by becoming the first and only boy from Kupwara to represent Jammu & Kashmir in the Under-14 National School Hockey Championship, held in Madhya Pradesh.

The felicitation ceremony witnessed the presence of local residents, family members, and neighbors, who expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for nurturing young talent and supporting grassroots sports in the region.
