International Film Festival of Kerala from Dec 12 to 19

Thiruvananthapuram: The 30th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) will be held here from December 12 to 19.

Organised by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala, the festival features a Competition Section for films from Asia, Africa, and Latin America, as well as an Official World Cinema Section.

Recognised by FIAPF, IFFK has become one of the most notable film events in India, with the participation of masters of world cinema and a fine selection of films from across the globe.

The festival showcases some of the best films from around the world and attracts one of the largest audiences in India. The presence of international media and film festival directors from across the world makes it a rare and significant cultural experience.

Entries are invited in the following categories: International Competition, World Cinema, Indian Cinema Now, and Malayalam Cinema Today. Feature films produced between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025, are eligible to apply.
