J&K: SF apprehend 2 suspected individuals with arms, ammunition in Bandipora

Srinagar: Security Forces (SF) during a Joint Search Operation apprehended two suspected individuals and recovered arms and ammunition and other warlike stores from their possession in Jammu Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

“Army in a post on X on Thursday said that based on intelligence input, a Joint Search Operation was launched at Gandbal-Hajin Road on March 12 during which two suspected individuals have been apprehended along with 1 pistol, 1 pistol magazine, 2 hand grenades, 1 AK magazine, ammunition, and other warlike stores.”

Further investigation by police is in progress, they said.

“OP GANDBAL, Bandipora On March 12, 2025 based on specific intelligence input, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy, @JmuKmrPolice and @crpf_srinagar at Gandbal-Hajin Road, Bandipora. During the search, two suspected individuals have been apprehended alongwith recovery of 01xPistol, 01xPistol Magazine, 02xHand Grenades, 01xAK Magazine, ammunition & other war like stores. Further Investigation by Police is in progress”, Army posted on X.
