Wayanad: NDA candidate Navya Haridas, who is contesting against Priyanka Gandhi in the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-poll, on Monday gave a written complaint to the Wayanad Returning officer, demanding dismissal of the nomination of Congress candidate Priyanka Gandhi.
The letter said “Priyanka Gandhi Vadra intentionally concealed relevant information in her nomination paper and supporting affidavit filed on October 23 before the district collector D R Meghasree. She has conveniently excluded referring to the case against her, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi regarding National Herald case, shares, assets, etc., are also falsely noted and relevant facts purposefully omitted.
Giving false information is a misconduct, BJP opposes the nomination of Priyanka Gandhi and demands to dismiss it, she added.
Menawhile, talking to news persons, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, “BJP is spreading lies over the nomination and she has all the facts in this regard.”
