‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’: PM Modi addresses public meeting in Bhopal

On Tuesday, June 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal, and addressed all the booth-level karyakartas of the Bharatiya Janata Party, virtually. Around 10 lakh karyakartas, of 3000 booths, attended the event. Before addressing the meeting, PM Modi flagged-off 5 new Vande Bharat Express trains, which include the first such trains for Goa, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The trains which have been introduced are the Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express; Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express; Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express; Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express; and the Goa-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express.

During the public meeting, PM Modi said, “I congratulate my brothers and sisters in Madhya Pradesh, as they get two Vande Bharat Express trains today. The journey from Bhopal to Jabalpur will be faster and more comfortable now”. He added that the trains will boost the economic activity in the country.

Madhya Pradesh Governor, Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, and Jyotiraditya Scindia, were also present during the occasion.

It is noteworthy that the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections are scheduled to take place later this year.
