Pune: Maharashtra Education Minister Chandrakant Patil will inaugurate the silver jubilee of Kargil victory here on July 22. it was announced on Wednesday.
Every year, rhe Sarhad Kargil International Marathon is organised at Kargil, Leh by Sarhad organisations.
The function will be held at Joshi Auditorium, Ganjwe Chowk, Navi Peth Pune.
On the initiative of Sarhad Sanstha, a 72 feet national flag has been erected by the Indian Army at the Army School in Kargil in the silver jubilee year.
Apart from this, the silver jubilee of the victory of Kargil war will be celebrated in Kargil in various ways like blood donation camp, Kargil Gaurav Yatra, publication of various books, seminars, lectures, Dr Pagaria and Zahid Bhat here.
