National Police commemoration day observed at Baramulla, SSP Baramulla and Co CRPF paid floral Tribute shaheedi Mulaqat Held

Srinagar : The sacrifices of various police forces in the line of their duties were observed with solemnity on the Police Commemoration Day held at District Police Lines Baramulla.

SSP Baramulla, Shri Rayees Mohammad Bhat-IPS, CO 53 Bn CRPF Sh. Meghraj among others showered floral tributes to all martyrs of the police forces of the country.

The function was held at District Police Lines Baramulla where contingents of District Police, 53 Bn CRPF, 2nd Bn SSB and IRP 13th Bn and Sammaan Toli performed parade led by Sh. Qazi Naveed Showkat-JKPS DySP (Prob.)

SSP Baramulla took the salute of the Police Commemoration Day Parade.

On the occasion SSP Baramulla read out the names of all the martyrs of the Nation and said, “The whole country is observing the Police Commemoration Day, we salute the courage, valour and sacrifices of our brave martyrs who laid their lives for unity and integrity of the Nation and protecting the life and property of the people. He also added thag J&K Police Deptt. is organizing various cleanliness, cultural, sports events across valley with the message on unity written by the scared blood of our brave warriors”.

The function was followed by laying of wreaths and showering of flowers by Shri. Rayees Mohammad Bhat-IPS, Commandant 53 Bn CRPF Shri Meghraj, Sh. Qazi Mehmood, SO to DIG NKR Baramulla, Sh. Sajad Bukhari-JKPS, DySP Hqrs, Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, DySP DAR, Sh. Junaid Wali-JKPS SDPO Uri, Sh. Mohammad Nawaz-JKPS SDPO Pattan, Sh.Hilal Khaliq-JKPS SDPO Tangmarg, Sh. Khalid Ashraf-JKPS SDPO Kreeri, Sh. Altaf Ahmad-JKPS DySP Ops Pattan, SHOs and officers, jawans of District Police Baramulla, guests and the members of Martyr families.

SSP Baramulla distributed tokens of gratitude among NOKs of Police Martyrs and listened patiently to the grievances of Police Martyrs’ families in the Shaheedi Mulaqat programme and assured the issues will be taken up for proper redressal.
