New Delhi: A meeting of Opposition parties was held here on Monday to chalk out strategy on various issues , amid the ongoing Budget session of the Parliament.
Aam Aadmi Party and Samajwadi Party participated in the meeting, which was held at the office of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress president, Mallikarjun Kharge in the Parliament House building.
AAP’s Sanjay Singh attended the meeting.
Among the issues that were discussed in the meeting include Adani issue and expunction of Kharge’s speech in the Upper House last week.
Congress along with other Opposition parties have been demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe or an inquiry under the Chief Justice of Supreme Court to look into the Hindenburg Research report over Adani Group.
The report alleged that Adani Group had engaged in stock manipulation and accounting fraud scheme over the course of decades.
