Over 200 vehicles damaged in fire at Delhi police training school in Wazirabad

New Delhi: Around 200 two-wheelers and 45 four-wheelers were destroyed after a massive fire broke out at a Delhi police training school in Wazirabad during the early hours of Monday.

The fire was reported at 12:14 am in the Malkhana, a yard where seized and scrapped vehicles were kept, the Delhi Fire Service department said in a statement here.

Eight fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot, and the fire was brought under control at around 4:15 am, the department said.

As of now, the cause of the fire is not clear yet, and the local police are investigating the matter.

However, no casualty have been reported in the incident, it said.
