Pahalgam terror attack: PM Modi holds meeting with NSA

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was briefed on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack after he landed in the National Capital early on Wednesday from Jeddah.

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and other senior officials were present at the meeting. The External Affairs Minister and the Security Advisor briefed PM Modi on the current situation and the attack in detail.

After attending a bilateral meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Modi returned home this morning.

PM Modi has called a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security in the wake of the emergency situation.
