On the occasion of International Tiger Day, observed globally on July 29, 2025, the Panchamahabhute Foundation, a leading environmental movement in India, has announced the launch of a worldwide campaign, #RoarForTigers Global Challenge.
This exciting and powerful digital campaign is designed to ignite massive public awareness, action, and engagement on the urgent need to protect tigers, their natural habitats, and the ecosystems that support all life on Earth. From local citizens to celebrities, students to wildlife lovers, everyone is invited to participate, roar, and raise their voice for the planet’s most majestic predator, the tiger.
The #RoarForTigers Global Challenge is a digital viral challenge where individuals, families, schools, communities, influencers, corporates, NGOs, and government bodies are encouraged to ‘Roar Like a Tiger’, literally or creatively; to record and upload a 30-second video/photo/post expressing your roar for tiger conservation; to use the hashtags #RoarForTigers, #InternationalTigerDay, and #Panchamahabhute; and to tag three others to take the challenge and help it go viral.
The entries are to be posted on social media platforms like Instagram, X, Facebook or YouTube between July 25 and July 29, 2025. Top entries will be featured globally and will receive digital badges and eco-certificates.
From students and schools, colleges & universities, wildlife enthusiasts and NGOs, corporate houses, housing societies, artists, creators and celebrities, to environmental departments & forest officials, anyone can participate and be a part of this trend.
This challenge matters because India is home to over 70 percent of the world’s wild tigers, but this magnificent species continues to face threats from poaching, habitat destruction, and climate change. The tiger is not just a symbol of strength, it is the guardian of our forests, rivers, and the entire food chain. When we protect the tiger, we protect everything beneath its pawprint: forests, biodiversity, tribal livelihoods, and our future.
Hence, let this not be just a trend, let this be a movement. As this is a global call for action, the Panchamahabhute Foundation urges every citizen across the globe to participate in this challenge, nominate others, and spread the roar until it reaches every screen, every ear, and every heart.
From a child’s growl to a tribal folk song, from a tiger-themed dance to a painting, let your roar echo across borders and timelines, and let us make this the loudest roar the world has heard, for tigers, for forests, and for Earth.
