PM Modi’s resolution is to make India top in the world : Amit Shah

Nagpur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolution is to make India top in the world in the next 25 years.

Amit Shah was speaking at a programme organised to celebrate the birth centenary of founder-editor of the Lokmat Media group and freedom fighter Jawaharlal Darda and golden jubilee of its Marathi newspaper’s Nagpur edition.

He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolution is to make India top in the world.

On this occasion, he gave information about the changes brought about in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the new direction the country got due to the bold decisions taken by central government.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved that India will be seen leading the world in next 25 years.

“Prime Minister Modi’s resolve is that India should become the top in the world in the next 25 years and he is working with the goal’, he said.

He also said that before Narendra Modi came to power, the country had three major aims – Kashmir, North-East and left wing extremism.

“Today in these three areas, 80 percent reduction in incidents of violence has been done under Modi’s leadership”, the Union Minister claimed .

“When Article 370 was removed, speeches were made in Parliament that blood will flow in Kashmir. But no one could hit even a small stone, let alone a pool of blood’, he further claimed.

“There used to be stone pelting, violence, but now everything has stopped. Now there are theaters in Kashmir and 1crore 80 lakhs tourists visited Kashmir in a year”, he said.

“In the last 70 years, 12,000 crores of investment was brought in Kashmir. But we(the BJP government) have brought 12,000 crore investment in Kashmir in just 3 years “, claimed Amit Shah.

Earlier, Shah visited Deekshabhoomi monument, where Dr. Ambedkar embraced Buddhism with his lakhs of followers in Nagpur.

After that he visited Dr Hedgewar Smruti Mandir , the memorial of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Dr K B Hedgewar.

He also paid tributes to RSS ideologue M S Golwalkar,Guruji.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis accompanied him during the visit.
